The Innovation Competition organized by Initiative Saint Martin Active had its epilogue last Friday in the premises of the CCISM with the awarding of prizes to the three brilliant winners of this 8th edition in the presence of the delegated prefect of the Northern Islands, Vincent Berton, the president of ISMA, Jean-Paul Fischer and the various partners.

For eight years, this competition has been intended to encourage innovation, to promote project leaders who promote innovative products, services or processes for the territory of Saint-Martin. Of the nine files submitted, four were accepted. Particularly, it is only women who this year won over the jury composed of Bernard Allamanno (Manager of a Business Consulting company), Julien Bataille (Director of the CCISM), Martine Beldor (Collectivity of Saint-Martin), Laura Piquet (Crédit Mutuel) and Nathalie Rubini (Director of Pôle Emploi SXM).

The results of the 8rd edition of the Innovation Competition:

1er price 5000 euros Crédit Mutuel (presented by the director, Michel Louisor) was awarded to Camille Reache, associated with Anna Moreira Rodriguez for the creation of a mobile application dedicated to the purchase and resale of second-hand clothing and accessories for individuals. Relay point assistance for home delivery of items will also be available.

2rd price 3000 euros CCISM (presented by the director, Julien Bataille) was awarded to Alexia Carole for the creation of fun and creative boxes for children aged 4 to 12 combining discovery tours of Saint-Martin and artistic activities through two characters: Anaö 8 years old and Kéo 5 years old.

3rd price 1500 euros Dauphin Telecom (presented by the marketing manager, Lyva Viotty) was awarded to Ananda Arnell for the creation of “La Testothèque des Iles”, a clinical support which aims to rent diagnostic, teaching and research equipment intended for students, teachers and professionals in psychology, psychomotor therapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists. It sometimes takes several years to make a diagnosis, Saint-Martin being no exception to this rule. “The lack of resources is a limitation and we must facilitate the practice of paramedics to meet the needs of families” underlines Ananda Arnell. “The objective is to improve the provision of care at lower cost by adding expertise in assessments and observations. The tests will be available at Innovation Médical Caraibes, which offers the sale and rental of medical equipment.”

Firstrd candidate Lisiane Polifonte has been awarded numerous gifts by the sponsors listed below. Its project aims to create a leisure activity center without accommodation for independent adults wishing to remain dynamic, to find pleasure and social usefulness.

Initiative Saint Martin Active thanks the partners and donors who participated in the 8th edition of the Innovation Competition: Crédit Mutuel, CCISM, Dauphin Telecom, Buzz, Caribbean Donuts, Boudins des Tropiques, Restaurant Le Mood, Love Hôtel, Kreoli Bijoux, Le Comptoir des Fromages, Yögart, Sushi Box. _AF
