EEASM: Pending the near end of work in Grand-Case, a water cut is scheduled for Monday July 19

"The work undertaken in Grand-Case for several months is coming to an end," said the Water and Sanitation Establishment of Saint-Martin (EEASM) in a press release. As a reminder, these concern both the drinking water supply network, which has been completely overhauled, and the deployment of the collective sanitation network that the sector did not yet have.

An important step is planned for this Monday, July 19 and will consist in connecting the new drinking water supply network. This sequence will result in a water supply cut-off from 7 a.m. until the end of the afternoon on Monday July 19. Users are invited to make their arrangements.

For security and to allow subscribers to connect to the new network over time, the old and new networks will remain operational until the end of September.

During this subscriber connection period, disturbances are to be expected, particularly in terms of pressures and flow, for those who are still connected to the old network and until all subscribers are connected to the new network. Individual connections will cause occasional cuts of a few hours at most.

Collective sanitation will be effective in September, it will then be up to the subscribers to plan their connection as soon as possible by contacting the delegatee, SAUR.

More generally, the repair of the roads will also be effective by the end of September, ending the period of disruption and allowing the return to normal traffic.
