This week aims to:

Insist on the importance of mathematics in the training of citizens and in their daily life (numbers, forms, measures, digital sciences);

Present the diversity of professions in which mathematics plays an important or essential role, as well as the wealth of links existing between mathematics and other disciplines (physics, chemistry, life sciences, environment, computer science, economic and social sciences, geography, etc.) .);

• Develop in students a taste for effort, perseverance, the will to progress, respect for others, self and rules: all values common to sport and mathematics;

Show that the practice of mathematics can be a source of emotions of an aesthetic nature (elegance of a theory, a formula, a reasoning) in order to reveal the link between mathematics, pleasure and creativity.
