Economy: The CCISM launches the René Mathon Entrepreneur Prize!

As part of the 10 years of CCISM, CCI Saint-Martin launches the first edition of the “René MATHON Entrepreneur Prize”.

The René Mathon Entrepreneur Prize aims to educate young entrepreneurs to managerial and decision-making anticipation to manage situations related to the technical nature of their activity, to enhance and promote the economic dynamics of the territory, to perpetuate and develop l activity of young entrepreneurs, on the island of Saint-Martin.

Organized by the CCISM in partnership with the federation of very small businesses (FTPT), Initiative Saint Martin Active, the bar of Guadeloupe, Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin, the Entrepreneur René Mathon prize is open to different structures commercial or independent crafts that are not part of a group, or from a company located outside the island of Saint Martin.

The structures must:

• be registered with the CCISM, whether under the Commercial Register, the Chamber of Trades, or the Chamber of Agriculture

• have a workforce not exceeding 20 employees

• have an activity that started less than 3 years ago

• be considered up to date with their social and tax contributions.

Associative structures are not eligible.

Only one file is accepted per structure. The participation on the contest is free.

The application file can be downloaded from the CCISM website or retrieved in paper format from the CCISM offices, during normal opening hours.

The duly completed files must be submitted before the closing date for registrations, i.e. November 15, 2019 at 12:00 p.m.

The winner will benefit from:

• An award ceremony in the company of the press, Friday, December 20, 2019, thus ensuring him a visual on his activity

• Support from the sponsorship committee for 4 quarters (calendar year 2020), made up of accountants, lawyers, socio-professionals (FTPE; Saint-Martin Initiative) and a banker. The support will consist of guiding the winner from time to time (2 hours per quarter as part of a meeting with the sponsorship committee), on blocking points, depending on the skill, experience, and logbook. address of the members of the sponsorship committee.
