Faces of Saint Martin exposed on the walls of Marigot

The COM organized Saturday, June 24 in the late afternoon, the opening of the exhibition "Faces of Saint-Martin", directly inspired by the project "Inside out" by street artist JR.

Five photographers (amateurs or professionals) who had responded to the call for applications launched by the COM last February, were selected. Five women: Steph Deziles, Nathalie Beaurain, Pauline Rebin, Ismaä Sidi-Ikhlef and Glanny Baloula. The exhibition brings together 43 photos, printed in black and white on large-format “blue back” paper (such as an election or metro poster) and pasted on the city walls belonging to the public domain. Like the majority of street art works, "Faces of Saint-Martin" is a temporary exhibition. It will change over time and wear and tear, since the posters will peel off and tear apart until dissolved. It should be renewed next year.
