Last Friday, the school directors and school heads of Saint-Martin were invited to participate in a seminar organized by the national education services in order to find solutions to compensate for the lack of lessons for several weeks. The rector, two inspectors general and several inspectors were also present.
During one day, the staff reflected on "innovative educational devices to be implemented to lead the students of the North Islands on the path to success". At the end of the seminar, each school and each establishment had to draw up its action plan to start implementing it the following week.
"Today, as of November 24, we have 80% of the students present and 90% of the staff present," notes Camille Galap, the rector. “We have an organization adapted to each establishment. Solutions have been found so far but they are not entirely satisfactory, hence this seminar to see how we can improve them, ”adds Camille Galap, who is already preparing for the start of the school year in September 2018.
