From November 14 to 18, the SXM Nature Reserve was present to represent the territory of Saint-Martin at the 4th National Sea Turtle Colloquium, organized by the Groupe Tortues Marines France and the TOTEM Association, in La Grande Motte.
The objective was to take stock of the state of knowledge and the actions carried out by territory in France, in favor of the conservation of sea turtles.
On this occasion, Aude Berger was able to present the 2018-2022 results of the actions carried out and Julien Chalifour focused on the specificities of our territories and the solutions developed for the enhancement and preservation of these emblematic species within the framework of the management of the National Nature Reserve.
The exchanges were very rich and new partnerships will be able to emerge for the benefit of the local natural heritage of Saint-Martin.
