In Saint-Martin, surveillance indicators remain high with around forty clinical cases and around ten biological cases confirmed each week. These values characterize an epidemic situation, state the health authorities in their latest bulletin.
The number of consultations in a liberal environment was stable during the second week of January compared to the first with 40 and 45 cases respectively. In total, since October 2019, nearly 420 clinically suggestive cases of dengue fever have been recorded in community medicine, 40% of which in the last 4 weeks. The estimated number of consultations per week has remained high since the peak observed in mid-December with 70 cases.
