"I gave myself body and soul to give meaning to my political action, primarily to make the voices of Saint Martin and Saint Barthélemy heard at the national level," he explained, adding that this publication is a good way to respond to those who question its true role. In front of the press, Mr. Gibbs also recalled his various actions and projects as a deputy, including the parliamentary information mission on Saint-Martin which led to concrete proposals, and the local management on an experimental basis of social security in Saint-Barthélemy.
