CYCLING: Richard Virenque, sponsor of the “Nagico to Nagico” race!

Here is excellent news for all cycling enthusiasts: Richard Virenque, one of the most popular French cyclists, becomes the sponsor of the 5th edition of the "Nagico to Nagico" race, organized from April 28 to 30 by Vélo-Club de Grand-Case, in partnership with Assurances Nagico and Caisse d'Epargne (CEPAC).

The formalization of the engagement of Richard Virenque was carried out last Friday in the premises of Nagico, rue de la République, in the presence of Elgin Dwayne, Chief Executive Officer Nagico NV, David Ménissier, director of the Nagico agency in Marigot , Nicolas Pommier, director of the Caisse d'Epargne agency in Marigot, the "Mote" president of the Vélo-Club de Grand-Case, accompanied by René Arnell, club coordinator, without forgetting "Richard Coeur de Lion" as he was nicknamed his many supporters during his brilliant career. Let us not forget that Richard Virenque donned seven polka dot jerseys at the Tour de France. A record that is not ready to be equaled, let alone beaten!

But back to local news with the presentation of the 5th edition of the race “Nagico to Nagico” which will take place from April 28 to 30 (note: the race was postponed by a month due to the territorial elections scheduled for late March 2017).

The traditional Friday evening time trial (2,5 km) will take place on the Causeway Bridge in Sint-Maarten around 19 p.m.

The next day (Saturday morning), 1st stage: departure from Tackling Assurances, arrival from RN 7 Grand-Case (77 to 5 km)

Saturday afternoon: time trial 10, 5km, departure Nagico Marigot, arrival Angel Insurance Quartier d'Orléans

Sunday April 30: departure from Nagico Philipsburg, arrival at Nagico, rue de la République (110 to 120 km).
