On Tuesday, December 13, President Louis Mussington received in the Community the vice-president of the French Cycling Federation (FFC), Marc Tilly, and the members of the local committee, led by Éric Élan.
This meeting, initiated by the representatives of Saint-Martin cycling, was an opportunity to discuss the future of this sport in our territory, with the president of the community but also the territorial councilor in charge of sport, Marc G Ménard. and the territorial councillor, Alain Gros-Désormeaux.
President Mussington underlined the support of the territorial institution to the associative world and undertook to mobilize the Collectivity around the development of sport in general and cycling in particular.
The objective is to promote high-level sport, nurture young talents and support them on their journey.
The community, which has just created the Center of Excellence and Education through Sport (CEES), will work in this direction in the coming months.
