Kizomba, salsa, bachata, merengue, kiz, Saint-Martin will live for three days to the rhythm of Latin and African dances. The local association Afrolatin'Move organizes the kizomba festival on June 14, 15 and 16.

Kizomba is a dance of Angolan origin, a mixture of zouk, compass and semba. One of the masters of this dance which is practiced today all over the world, is Gilles de Souza. “He will therefore be in Saint-Martin in mid-June to offer three courses.

They will take place in bars-restaurants and will be followed by an evening. The courses are open to both beginners and more experienced. The first will take place on Thursday June 14 from 19 p.m. to 21 p.m. at the snack Shack in Grand Case (Savane), the second on Friday June 15 at the Jungle from 19 p.m. to 21 p.m. The price of the course is 20 euros per person per day. The last course will take place on Saturday June 16 at the Mercure hotel and will last four hours. Its price is 40 euros. People wishing to participate in the three courses can buy a pass for 70 euros. Each session will be followed by an evening whose entry is free. The public can come in the evening without having attended the course.
