Cruise operator Carnival announced this week that it has received permission from the US government to organize cruises to Cuba. By 2016, tourists could therefore afford a week's cruise from Miami, if the Cuban authorities give the green light, said Carnival. The rapprochement between Cuba and the United States is very likely to explode the tourist sector of the island, to the detriment of Saint-Martin.
