New screening campaigns for covid-19 will soon be carried out in neighborhoods in the French part such as those carried out in early May, announced the prefect.
A bus will pass through the neighborhoods and the population will be invited to introduce themselves. One of the objectives is to detect in particular asymptomatic carriers of the virus.
As of July 25, 1 PCR tests have been carried out in the French part. 080 were found to be positive (of which 49 concern repatriated tourists). On the Dutch side, 3 tests were carried out on July 706, as well as 29 at the airport; 151 were found to be positive. The positivity rate is 126% and 4,53% respectively.
These rates could be higher if in the total of the PCR tests indicated the two tests carried out on the positive people at the end of the fortnight to declare them cured are included. We put the question to the ARS last week but we did not get an answer.
Knowing that 41 people were declared cured partly French and 64 people partly Dutch. This represents 82 and 128 tests to be deduced from the 1080 and 706 performed.
