Santé Publique France recorded 125 new cases of Covid-19 in Saint-Martin last week, a number that is still high but which is decreasing “in a context of a reduction in the screening rate”. As a reminder, SPF had identified 194 and 164 new cases* over the past two weeks.
The positivity rate is 12,1% against 14,7% the week before. Three people went to the emergency room for suspected covid and were hospitalized.
To date, 52,7% of the population over 12 years of age has received at least one dose of vaccine and 49,4% of those over 12 years of age have received a complete primary vaccination.
In Saint-Barthélemy, the new contaminations remained stable last week for an equally stable screening activity. 101 new cases were confirmed; the positivity rate there is 16,1% against 15,8% the week before.
