FIRST AID: The French Association of First Aid of St-Martin is recruiting first aiders

Affiliated with the French Association of First Aid, AFPS 978 recently launched its campaign to recruit first aid workers. for its various aid stations.

Very busy with the current vaccination campaign, the performance of PCR tests, the presence of many first-aid stations at events organized in the territory, the association is in great need of reinforcement. The intervention of rescuers being essential in several respects, it is essential to enlarge the ranks of the association of Saint-Martin. A training session PSE1 (Prevention and Rescue Team Level 1) spread over four days will take place on April 10, 11, 17 and 18. This training aims to make the rescuer capable of providing technical and human assistance to one or more victims, acting alone or within a team, with or without equipment, pending or in addition to emergency public services concerned. At the end of the training and with new skills, participants will be able to join the AFPS team in Saint-Martin.
