Since Sunday May 30, 2021, faced with the increase in hospitalized cases of Covid-19 in Saint-Martin, the Prefect Serge Gouteyron has decided to implement a curfew on the territory from 20 p.m. to 3 a.m. in order to protect the population and reverse this trend.
Since then, the health situation in Saint-Martin seems to have developed favorably. The State services are awaiting the consolidated figures which confirm this trend and the decisions concerning the relaxation of the measures put in place since May 30, 2021 will be taken according to them.
Consequently, a consultation meeting between the Prefect, Serge Gouteyron, the General Director of the Regional Health Agency, Valérie Denux and the Interministerial Crisis Center, is scheduled for Friday, June 18 at 11 a.m.
If the trend is confirmed, the curfew could be lifted as of this Friday, June 18. We cross fingers ! _AF
