For the week of April 19 to 25, the Regional Health Agency recorded 22 new active cases of Covid-19 in part of France, or 8 more than the week before. Two clusters were also detected, one in EPHAD and the other in a nursery. Taking into account the consolidated data from previous weeks, this brings to 1 the number of cumulative cases of coronavirus confirmed in the territory since the start of the epidemic.

Since Monday April 26, 5 new cases have been recorded out of 350 analyzes carried out.

Two confirmed patients are being cared for in the medical department of the Louis-Constant Fleming hospital center. No medical evacuation of COVID patients was carried out to Guadeloupe last week.

In addition, the health authorities registered 2 new clusters in the territory, one in a high criticality nursing home with 5 cases and one in a limited criticality crèche with 3 cases.

Epidemiological indicators remain at a low level, despite a slight increase in cases last week, which shows that the virus remains present in the territory.

On the other hand, the weekly incidence rate is above the alert threshold. It stands at 61,5 / 100 inhabitants against 000 / 39,2 the previous week. The positivity rate is 100%. It is slightly increasing but remains below the vigilance threshold.

Finally, since the start of the vaccination campaign on January 13, 3 people have received their first injection and 159 people the second. _AF
