Last week an increase in the number of covid-19 infections was observed in the Dutch part with 34 new cases recorded against 21 and 15 the previous two weeks. In the first 10 days of December, 70 people tested positive (up from 94 in November).
Since the start of the crisis, 4 cases have been confirmed by the authorities in Sint Maarten.
The number of deaths is still 75. On Saturday the number of active cases was 33.
