Running (15km from Saint-Martin)
Eighty runners took the start, the day before yesterday, of the 13th edition of the 15 km of Saint Martin organized by the Avenir Sportif Club de Saint-Martin.
Christophe Lannoy established himself as a strong man, the victory for women going to Christina Laurent, member of Le Gosier.
Valentine's Day requires, eight couples participated in this 13th edition with the key, two round-trip SXM / PTP plane tickets to be won, offered by Air Caraïbes.
After a loop in the Lowlands, the runners took the direction of Marigot, to finish on the Front de Mer market. From the start, the race was led by Christophe Lannoy who imposed his pace throughout the 15 km . In the women, it was the twin sisters Christelle and Christina Laurent, who came specially from Guadeloupe for this competition, who took the lead.
First place went to Christophe Lannoy in 54'01 ''.
For the women, Christina Laurent finished the course in 58'04 ''.
The couple's victory was won by Nicolas Doublecourt and Caroline Delplanque who did not fail to celebrate their first place on this special day with a big kiss!
A special mention for the runners from Saint-Barthélémy and for the Laurent sisters who made the trip from Guadeloupe. _AF
