The government of Sint Maarten announced on Saturday evening that it had six confirmed cases of Covid-19, three more than the previous days. Of these six patients, two are hospitalized.
Prime Minister Sylvia Jacobs said one of those affected has not recently traveled.
Health authorities are awaiting another 16 tests, one of which concerns a hospitalized person.
540 people are placed in quarantine or isolation at their home against 502 yesterday.
A total of 41 tests were carried out and 19 were negative.
The Prime Minister asks the people not to travel.
