This Saturday, March 28, Guadeloupe has 102 confirmed cases of coronavirus, 6 more than yesterday.
Among these confirmed cases, 26 patients are hospitalized at the CHU of Guadeloupe: (9 patients in intensive care, 17 in medicine) and 5 patients at the Center Hospitalier de Basse-Terre.
Today, a total of 20 people are declared cured by infectious diseases in Guadeloupe
Healing was defined by the High Council of Public Health on March 16. The declaration of recovery is a medical decision. It is the responsibility of the competent services which ensure screening and monitoring of sick subjects. It is only after the symptoms have completely disappeared for at least 2 days after the illness for people with mild symptoms and up to 14 days after discharge from hospital that people can be declared cured.
The confirmed cases of COVID-19 are mainly between 15 and 64 years old (65%). The proportion of people aged 75 and over represents 11% of cases. Of the 102 cases confirmed in Guadeloupe, 55 are women and 47 are men
Everyone is concerned: continue your confinement, only go out when absolutely necessary and respect the barrier measures.
Absolute respect for the fortnight for anyone returning to Guadeloupe
