As announced Monday, February 6, striking teachers and parents of students from Soualiga College crane-footed outside the offices of the education service this Tuesday, February 7 at 10 am before being received by Michel Sanz, the representative of the rector . They have been protesting since Thursday February 2 against the potential abolition of 5 to 7 positions at the start of the next school year which would imply an increase in the number of students per class. "60% of the pupils educated in our establishment do not have French as mother tongue" they advance. Given the heterogeneity of the levels, they do not want more than 25 students per class. At the end of the day, they announced in a press release that they would be mobilized, but will still resume classes on Wednesday February 8 at 8 a.m.
