Collège Mont des Accords: End of the strike movement!

0

As expected, part of the teaching staff of the Mont des Accords College was on strike yesterday at the call of the Se-Unsa union. A strike movement following the numerous violence perpetrated in recent times inside and around the school. Faced with this growing insecurity, teachers are asking for more human resources and materials, so that the rules of procedure are applied to the letter.

Following an interview with the representative of the rector, the president of the Collectivity and the principal of the college yesterday morning, the striking teachers were clearly heard. As a result, the strike movement was suspended. Classes therefore resume normally this morning.

The list of claims:

1) Increase in supervisory staff: reestablishment of the presence of 4 relay adults, 2 supervisory positions and 1 additional primary education adviser given the specific nature of the establishment

2) Urgent creation of a support system in the college for disruptive, violent or repeat offenders;

3) Effective and strict application of the rules of procedure for all (recurring request in CA, in plenary meeting,…): consistency and effectiveness of sanctions;

4) Creation of a permanence room to better accommodate students and the effective application of deductions;

5) Establishment of a meeting mechanism between school life, management, parents and teachers;

6) Reinforced security for students 'entrances and exits, which enter in particular through the back portal, the fire department access and the teachers' entrance. _AF
