Sint Maarten police are currently investigating a stabbing that occurred at Festival Village around 1am on April 16th.
The victim, who received several stab wounds to the upper body, was treated at the scene by medical personnel before being rushed to Sint Maarten Medical Center. She is currently in critical but stable condition. Detectives are actively investigating this very serious incident. The reason for the attack is not yet known. Police are asking for help from the public, especially those who were in the Festival Village area and witnessed the incident.
