Carbets de la BO: AOTs go from 3 to 5 years

0

This was a point of dissatisfaction: the operators of Eastern Bay carbets will finally have a Temporary Occupation Authorization (AOT) extended by 2 years.

This decision was taken Tuesday during the meeting at the initiative of the prefect Anne Laubies between the collective "Saint-Martin Wake Up" and the Collectivity, in the prefecture. President Aline Hanson and Vice-President Wendel Cocks have thus agreed to extend the duration of the AOT for operators of the AW34 plot from 3 to 5 years. Deliberation will be taken shortly by the Executive Council. This meeting allowed to raise all the grievances related to carbets. The Collectivity is notably committed to cleaning the access road between Galion and Orient Bay, to collect sargassum and to verify the safety measures concerning the gas installation of the kitchens. The other claims, this time of a general nature, will be addressed at a future meeting.
