Founder of the “One Toy One Smile Haiti” Association, Myrlise Lavaud, a native of Haiti, lived ten years in Saint-Martin. The attachment to his country of origin gave him the desire to create an association in order to come to the aid of the most underprivileged children. 

"We collect toys and clothing in mainland France and we try each year to set up events, such as concerts or competitions to raise funds," specifies Myrlise Lavaud.

“Last year, the association managed to collect 50 kg of toys and clothes as well as financial donations. From there, we went to Haiti to distribute them and give food to more than 300 children. We also organized a charity concert in Port-au-Prince to help a local school.

This year, we are organizing a talent contest (song, dance, poem) called "KIDS TALENT HAITI COMPETITION" in order to allow children to have fun and showcase their talents.

We are happy to have collected more toys and gifts in recent months. We will offer them in several children's camps.
