The Back-to-School Allowance (Ars) is paid means-tested to families with low incomes and who have school children aged 6 to 18 (born between September 16, 2000 and December 31, 2012 inclusive). It is adjusted according to the age of the child.
The amount of Ars 2018 per child will be:
6-10 years: € 367,73
11-14 years: € 388,02
15-18 years old: € 401,47.
The award conditions:
To benefit from Ars, 2016 resources must not exceed the following ceilings:
Of children dependent: Ceilings of resources 2016
1 child: 24 €
2 children: € 30
3 children: € 35
Per additional child: +5 €
If the resources slightly exceed these ceilings, the family will receive a reduced Ars.
The Caf will pay the Back-to-School Allowance from August 16, 2018 to families who meet the conditions.
In 2017, 37223 Guadeloupe families were able to benefit from the allowance. This concerned 55 499 Children.

Reminder: a total or partial withdrawal
For 6 - 15 years old, automatic payment, There is no procedure to be carried out if the families meet the conditions.
For 16 - 18 years old **, families must simply confirm on caf.fr that their child is still in school, studying or apprentice for the start of the 2018 school year. They will receive Ars as soon as it is paid.
No need to send a school certificate at the start of the school year.
