Last Wednesday, around 18 p.m., an appliance store, located in Marigot, was the victim of an armed robbery. Two individuals, one in possession of a pistol and the other of a stabbing weapon, broke into the store and were given a smartphone. Informed of the facts, the mobile gendarmes went on the spot and finally succeeded in arresting one of the individuals not far from the store. The other thug and a third thief involved in the robbery were arrested meanwhile yesterday morning in the area of Cul-de-Sac. _AF
