This weekend will take place a Creole boxing tournament called "Battle of the Islands" in the Dutch part. Thursday evening took place the weighings of the different fighters from nearly twenty Caribbean islands.
Organized by the Sint Maarten Boxing Federation, the fights will take place at the LB Scott Sports auditorium on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 from 19:00. Guadeloupe, among others, participates with a selection of six boxers, with the aim of winning six medals, two of which are gold… Sint Maarten will field four fighters and Kesney Joseph, of Quartier d'Orléans, who is champion of the Caribbean Caribbean will also present.
Eight fights are scheduled each evening and entry ticket prices start at US $ 10 and VIP tickets start at US $ 50, while children under 12 will pay only US $ 5. _RM
