RUGBY: The Archiball received a nice “slap”!

Senior Honors Championship

On the first day of the Honor championship, the Archiball were defeated heavily (1-45) on the Barracudas field, in Saint-Barthélemy.

Alexandre Pellicier, the Archiball forward coach, does not question the superiority of their opponents one night but regrets the poor conditions of the trip to the neighboring island. “The least we can say is that we have not prepared the short trip to Saint-Barthélemy in the best conditions. Initially, we were to play last Saturday at 19 p.m. But due to the boat's delay, the meeting was postponed to 21 p.m. and we arrived in Saint-Barthélemy only half an hour before kick-off! Now, we must admit that we came across a very nice team from the Barracudas. We were dominated in all compartments of the game. The wide success of the local XV does not suffer from any possible dispute ”.

Between a team of Barracudas with an already well-oiled collective and a formation of Archiball who experienced many changes during the off-season, the difference was felt on the ground. Hence the significant point difference on the scoreboard at the end of the match.

The Archiball will try to rebuild their health this Saturday, November 14, at the Bellevue stadium, when the Saint-François team comes. The match kicks off at 15:45 pm! _AF
