Regional telluric activity in October was stable compared to that of previous months, according to the latest report by the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Guadeloupe (OVSG-IPGP). Regarding the Northern Islands, no earthquake was felt last month. The observatory recorded a total of 203 earthquakes of tectonic origin, of maximum magnitude 5,5, in a region of 450 km around Guadeloupe. The island arch of the Lesser Antilles includes 19 active volcanoes on 11 islands and 1 active underwater volcano in the south of the arc called Kick'Em Jenny, recalls the bulletin.
