A new Beach Tennis tournament organized by Friendly Caribbean Beach Tennis (FCBT) took place last weekend on the beach of the Palm Beach Restaurant in Orient Bay. Once again, the favorites proved to be correct at the meeting.
This tournament (G3) approved by FFT (French Tennis Federation) follows two ITF tournaments disputed successively in Guadeloupe and Martinique. On the occasion of this 3rd stage, the French number one, Régis Courtois made the trip to Saint-Martin, without forgetting our local champion and French number 3, Julie Labrit.
Whether it is for the double men, double women and mixed doubles tournament, the logic was respected in each of the three tables.
The men's double was won by the pair Régis Courtois / Nicolas Jubenot at the expense of Gregory Mathurin / Davy Pivert.
For women, the final victory came without surprise to the duo Julie Labrit / Juliette Nicolas against Sabrina Goubard / Laurence Delaporte.
Finally, Thomas Gely and Julie Labrit won in the mixed doubles against Renatta Haoes and Manuel Perrot.
