The first day of the interclub tournament began with the presence of five clubs, FI: NIKS, PELICAN, RCM, SXM Sport pour Tous and THUNDERZ, all affiliated to the French Basketball Federation (FFB).
Different meetings took place at the end of January in the U 13 and U 15, U 18 and senior citizens categories.
Reminder of matches:
- Wednesday January 25th was held the first day for U 18 (THUNDERZ vs FI: NIKS and RCM vs PELICAN)
- On Friday January 27th took place the first day for seniors (FI: NIKS vs PELICAN)
- On Saturday January 28, the second day of the U 13 and U 15 tournament from 15 p.m. to 18 p.m. (RCM, PELICAN, THNUDERZ and FI: NIKS) took place
This tournament is a friendly competition which brings together five clubs: FI: NIKS, PELICAN, RCM, SXM Sport pour Tous, THUNDERZ, all affiliated to the French Basketball Federation.
For the organizers, this type of event aims to allow children to practice their favorite discipline.
"As an association under the 1901 law, we are allowed to organize sporting or other events under cover of civil liability insurance", specifies the club representative, Jean-Jude Paul, before adding "To the Like other sports associations, we can also benefit from the infrastructures made available by the Collectivity.
