The latest health report published by the government of Sint Maarten reports 85 positive cases of covid-19. Two patients are hospitalized, one is isolated and 82 are confined to their homes.
The total number of cumulative cases is 679, including 35 new ones registered last week. This is the lowest weekly figure for nine weeks. These are 18 new cases less compared to the previous week.
In September, authorities confirmed 185 cases, 1,88 times fewer cases than in August. Between July 31 and August 31, the number of cases had exploded with 348 patients testing positive, the number of cumulative cases had increased from 128 to 476 in one month.
