23,8% drop in attendance in 2017

Tourist attendance in 2017 fell 23,8% on the island according to statistics from Sint Maarten. This represents 125 fewer people compared to the previous year.

From January to August, attendance was almost similar to that of 2016 with some 376 tourists. But between September and December, tourists were 000 times less numerous, or 5,8 to come.
