General and technological baccalaureate: 91,9% and 88,4% of candidates admitted from the first round

The results of this first round in Saint-Martin are slightly below the academic average.

The 2021 session was the first edition of the new baccalaureate and technological. In the context of a 2020-2021 school year disrupted by the health crisis, the organizational arrangements for the baccalaureate have been partially modified.

Nicknamed "Bac Blanquer", the exam consisted of a continuous assessment for 82% of the candidates' final mark, and a philosophy paper and a grand oral which represented 18% of this mark.

In Saint-Martin, 91,9% of the candidates of the general series (the academic average is 94,4%) and 88,4% of the technological series (the academic average is 89,0%) of this 2021 session, have been admitted in the first round. The final results will be communicated on July 9 at the end of the make-up tests.

Across the Guadeloupe academy, 5 candidates presented themselves for the June 537 session, all baccalaureates combined. 2021 of them were received, or 4%, which represents a decline of 923 points compared to the previous year.

190 candidates (3,4%) are postponed, or 6,5 points less than in June 2020. 424 (5,8%) are invited to the remedial tests which will take place this Thursday, July 8.
