The long-awaited meeting to award the title of senior champion took place last Saturday at the Thelbert Carti stadium in Quartier d'Orléans between Phoenicks and Junior Stars.
After a parity score at the end of the first period, Phoenicks opened the scoring when they returned from the locker room, but Junior Stars managed to equalize shortly after before taking the lead late in the game.
Junior Stars won by a score of 2 to 1 and won the title of champion of the Senior category, season 2021-2022.
Congratulations to both teams for their magnificent course achieved throughout the season, not to mention the coaches and educators who have also done a good job within their respective clubs.
Junior Stars wins $ 3000 and Phoenicks wins $ 1500.
The trophies and medals were presented by the President of the League, Aristide Conner, and the 1st Vice President of the Collectivity, Valérie Damaseau. _AF
