The 10th international school athletic meeting gathered, last Tuesday, 144 students at the Albéric Richards stadium.
Six schools were present for this original event, a school in Anguilla, two schools in Sint-Maarten, a school in Gustavia, the Emile Larmonie school and the Hervé Williams school.
Since 2007, the international meeting has been initiated by the EPS pedagogical advisor, Louis Fleming, to the delight of students from neighboring islands.
Mr. IEN, Dominique Boyer and Thierry Gombs, congratulated all the students during the opening ceremony, stressing the importance of fair play and living together.
The schools competed on speed, throw, jump and relay tests coordinated by the USEP North Islands. The morning ended with the presentation of trophies and medals.
In terms of results, Anguilla won hands down the first prize of this very convivial meeting.
The constituency of the Northern Islands thanks the Collectivity of Saint-Martin, Getelec and the USEP Northern Islands.
