The Regional Health Agency (ARS) of Guadeloupe and the Northern Islands unveiled its report on the management of the Zika crisis, following its feedback seminar (RetEx). “This epidemic which lasted 5 months” has affected “more than 30.000 people, including nearly 700 pregnant women and has resulted in the discovery of 15 fetal malformations to date”, according to the ARS. Regarding prevention, many actions were able to take place under good conditions “thanks to the rapid mobilization of key players”. However, some initiatives were not conclusive: “All the municipalities - for lack of resources - have not been able to mobilize or coordinate their actions within their agglomeration community (….) Too many pregnant women have been infected by the virus despite the state of vigilance. ” _EH
