15rd edition of the Meeting SXM Youth
All the conditions were met last weekend to make the 15th edition of the "Meeting des Jeunes de Saint-Martin" a real success. A beautiful sunny day, many athletes, and an organization that had left nothing to chance. No wonder under these circumstances that young athletes have achieved good “times”.
Under the leadership of the essential Patrick Trival and his staff of the Avenir Sportif Club de Saint-Martin, the 15th edition of the "Meeting des Jeunes de Saint-Martin" brought together more than 100 athletes from Tortola, Anguilla, Guadeloupe, Martinique and of course Saint-Martin and Sint-Maarten.
During the morning, a "Kids Athlé" took place in the presence of young champions, ready to do battle in the three disciplines: jumps, throws and races. A competition during which the collective spirit was privileged compared to performance and individual enhancement. Result of the races: everyone won!
At the start of the afternoon, things started to get serious for the confirmed athletes registered in the different categories: chicks, youngsters, minimes, cadets, juniors and under 18 years old. And the show was there with, as a bonus, good performances achieved in each event.
