On Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 August, the first edition of the Prix Patricio Carty took place, organized by the Vélo Club de Sandy Ground. "Everything went well," says the secretary of the club at the initiative of the race, Joane Lewest. "Twelve cadets were enrolled and only one dropped out."
On Saturday, the circuit took them from Sandy Ground to La Samana. The next day, we had to pedal to Quartier d'Orléans. In all, the young cyclists traveled 120km.
“Jahkim Carty won the first and the second stage”, continues Joane Lewest. “The youngest in the school also participated. Everyone ran very well." After this successful first edition, Joane Lewest hopes to “organize the second next year”. _pc
