Recently, the dynamic association "SXM Sport Mouvement" organized a sports event on the ground located between Super U and McDonald's. A successful day!
A friendly event which was a real and clear success, and which above all enabled many young people from Saint-Martin to discover different sports disciplines.
Competitions were thus organized in part of the Super U car park dedicated to Futsal, with the presence of several teams (categories U11, U13 and U17).
A Baseball match between Saint-Martin and Sint Maarten also took place among the U13s. In terms of motivation, everyone was on top!
The ABC Intersports boxing club, chaired by Philippe Arrendel, was also present, with the participation of boxer Jean-Marc Ismaël.
Without forgetting the inescapable dominoes championship, which always wins an undeniable success.
"We are a very motivated association to help both sides of the island to develop sport and unite the territory (...) We need everyone to promote sport", considers the President of the association "SXM Sport Movement ”, Julius Richardson.
The members of the association take the opportunity to thank all the partners who made this day possible: the Prefecture, the Collectivity, McDonald's, Super U, the LVMO company, the Ufolep Federation, the French Sport Pour Tous, as well as than David the owner of the land where the event took place.
