Each overseas citizen can participate until March 31, 2018 by visiting the Assises des Outre-mer website: www.assisesdesoutremer.fr.

The first digital consultation enabled around 1 overseas citizens to identify 8 major priorities for each territory. Until March 000, 9, the 31nd digital consultation will allow us to collect concrete ideas as well as the opinion of ultramarins on different subjects: their relationship to public action, their feelings concerning their identity or the future of their territory. The results of this consultation will be used when drafting the overseas blue book, which will summarize all the work carried out in the framework of the Assises des Outre-mer.

As Annick Girardin, Minister for Overseas France points out: “The objective of the Assizes is to come up with concrete solutions that emerge directly from the territories. This second digital consultation represents an important stage in the Assizes because it allows each overseas citizen to share both his ideas and his opinion with public decision-makers. "

The Overseas Assizes will end with the publication of the overseas blue book scheduled for spring 2018.
