The inaugural session of the National Assembly took place last Tuesday and the political groups, seven in total - a record -, were formed in the evening. Finally, no overseas group has seen the light of day, an initiative however desired by some deputies. Unsurprisingly, we find the deputy of the Northern Islands Claire Javois in the group Les Républicains, chaired by Christian Jacob. Other overseas deputies are also part of this group, including Mansour Kamardine, deputy for the 2nd constituency of Mayotte, and Nadia Ramassamy, deputy for the 6th constituency of Reunion.
