Madame S., a street vendor on the Quai de Marigot, was physically attacked on September 10 by a homeless person in the city center. The case was tried yesterday in court.
According to the victim, it was around 5 am that she was attacked by a lady named Dadou. The latter hit her in the head with a large stone: a blow that left her with scars and after-effects. A lady whom the victim describes as being "mentally ill". While in police custody, she admits to having beaten Mrs. S. and does not hide her consumption of drugs. The deputy prosecutor in his requisition suggests four months suspended prison sentence. A sentence which was retained by the court after deliberation. _KL
