If the Interprofessional Consular Chamber works for this sector of activity to meet modern standards, the fact remains that it is up to professionals to give themselves the means of performance.

My resignation from the CCI Saint-Martin will allow me a deeper investment within the Association of Mariners Fishermen of Saint-Martin and will be able to support several works whose outcome will guarantee survival, first, and the development of local fishing:

- The creation of the Local Fishing Committee to establish the Saint-Martin regulations in this area

- Cooperation with Sint Maarten and Anguilla but also with Guadeloupe and Martinique

- Training in fishing professions 

- The creation of a landing point for local fishing and the marketing.

The association of Mariners Fishermen of Saint-Martin must, like what our fellow breeders are about to succeed, allow these structuring elements to become a reality for the benefit of the sector and its actors, and feed strong and constructive links with the Directorate of the Sea and all partners in the maritime world ”.
