In Martinique, the 2nd Fishing and Aquaculture Conference took place last week, in the presence of Vice-President Wendel Cocks, in charge of economic development. The opportunity for Mr. Cocks to show the participants “the issues”, “the challenges” and “the pitfalls” facing the Saint-Martin sector. “For several years, I have asked that our specificities be taken into account by the development of reasonable exemptions allowing a sustainable economic model which also guarantees the safety of professionals in the sector. This file will have to succeed, ”said the vice-president. The objective of this event was to exchange on the problems of this sector and to find solutions to structure it.
