The vote for 1er round of the presidential elections will take place this Saturday April 9, 2022 from 8 a.m. to 19 p.m. for the Collectivities of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin (and not Sunday April 10, 2022).
You will find it at the following address: https://www.cnccep.fr/candidats.html, for each candidate the electronic version of his profession of faith in three versions:
• The general version of the declaration, which will also be sent to all voters by post in hard copy in the coming days;
• The version translated into Easy to Read and Understand (FALC) language. This version is intended for people with disabilities or with comprehension difficulties. It favors the use of common words and the use of short sentences associating pictograms with the text;
• The version recorded in audio format.
The obligation for candidates for elections to produce a version of their statement written in a language intended for people with disabilities or with comprehension difficulties is a novelty: the obligation set out in article R. 38-1 of the electoral code is now applicable to all elections and results from decree no. 2021-1740 of December 22, 2021. It is applicable for the first time to the presidential election.
