The tragic death of young Nicolas aroused great emotion within the population and at the Hervé Williams school where he was educated in class CM2. At the initiative of the SXM Soccer Five led by Yohann Lejeune, a tournament was organized last weekend and will be repeated each year to perpetuate the memory of Nicolas Isaac Gracchus.
Before the start of the matches, a minute of silence was observed by all the young footballers, the organizing team and Nicolas' dad, present for the poignant tribute paid to his son.
Junior Stars winner!
On the competition side, eight U 13 teams were involved, including three from the SXM Soccer Five, three from Junior Stars, one from FC Flamingo and another from Saint-Louis Stars.
In terms of results, Junior Stars won the final against Soccer 5 Sunset Team which was not unworthy, another formation of the Junior Stars winning the third place of the tournament.
A big congratulations to all the teams present who offered a great show in a festive atmosphere, in the image of the spirit of Nicolas.
